Pakistan connection of husband and wife in Fazilka, drug and heroin of Rs 9 lakhs recovers

The informant informed them that the above accused had links with drug smugglers in Pakistan.

Fazilka: Acting based on information, the team of the State Special Operation Cell of Fazilka has arrested three people, including a woman, on the charge of importing heroin from Pakistan. Drug money worth 9 lakh rupees and 42 grams of heroin have been recovered from them. At present, a case has been registered against the accused, and an investigation is being done.

Giving information, the police officer of the Fazilka State Special Operation Cell said that the police team was in the Sub Division Fazilka, Jalalabad, and Indo-Pakistan border areas in connection with intelligence operation duty and the search of suspicious men. When the police party reached Peer Baba’s Samadhi near village Nava Hasta, the informant informed them that the above accused had links with drug smugglers in Pakistan. They import heroin from Pakistan, from which heroin and drug money can be recovered.

Acting on this information, the police team has succeeded in arresting Jaspal Singh, son of Puran Singh, resident of district Ganganagar, Rajasthan; Dilshan Singh, son of Harmesh Singh, resident of village Nava Hasta; and Goga Bai, wife of Harmesh Singh, resident of Nava Hasta. Drug money worth Rs 9 lakh and 42 grams of heroin have been recovered from the accused. At present, the police have registered a case in this matter, and further investigation is being done.
