Amritsar: In an intelligence-led operation against trans-border narcotic smuggling networks, CI Amritsar has apprehended one person and seized 4 Kg Ice (Methamphetamine) & 1 Kg Heroin. The information was shared by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav.
As per police, the drones were used to transport drugs from Pakistan-based drug smuggler.
Police have registered an FIR under the NDPS Act registered at SSOC Amritsar and Investigations on-going to establish backward & forward linkages.
Punjab Police is committed to dismantle the drug networks and make our state drug-free, said DGP in the Post.
