Chandigarh: MLA Sukhwinder Singh Kotli from Adampur met assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan regarding the works of his constituency. MLA Sukhwinder Singh Kotli had written a letter to the executive and SDO regarding the amount released for the ongoing sewerage work in the city and the inspection of the works.
However, the officials did not come to the meeting. MLA Sukhwinder Singh Kotli met Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan to give this matter to the Privileges Committee of the Punjab Legislative Assembly.
He has demanded from the Speaker that this matter should be given to the committee immediately and the matter of insult of the MLA should be heard by calling the concerned officials and action should be taken. Let us tell you that due to the flyover built on the highway in Adampur, the work of the entire city is being greatly affected.
The work on the said flyover has been going on for the last two decades, due to which the people living on the road and the people of the constituency are facing problems.
