ADC to investigate Chandigarh Mall accident: Child died two days ago after falling toy train

The investigation of the case of death of 11-year-old Shahbaz after falling from a toy train in Chandigarh Elante Mall has been handed over to ADC by Chandigarh Administration.

Chandigarh: The investigation of the case of death of 11-year-old Shahbaz after falling from a toy train in Chandigarh Elante Mall has been handed over to ADC by Chandigarh Administration.

ADC is now preparing a report from approval of running the train to safety features. Apart from this, the police will soon record the statements of the management of Elante Mall.

Two partners arrested

Police has arrested 2 partners of Pix Land Company. The accused have been identified as Sunil Kumar Goyal, resident of Sector-34 and Puneet Kumar Ahuja, resident of Gurgaon, Haryana.

Industrial Area Police Station arrested both of them in the case of unintentional murder. After this, the police released both of them on bail. Earlier, the police station had arrested toy train driver Saurav, resident of Bapu Dham.

Police and administration became alert

After the death of the child in Elante Mall, both Chandigarh Police and Chandigarh Administration have become alert. Due to which now Elante Mall will be monitored. Apart from this, the administration and police will also keep an eye on the fairs organised by the company in Chandigarh so that such an incident does not happen again in the city.
