Jalandhar: A recruitment rally for Agniveer in the Indian Army will be conducted at Government Sports College, Jalandhar from 6th to 13th November 2024. Candidates from various districts of the state will participate in this rally.
To oversee the preparations for the event, SDM Jalandhar-1, Randeep Singh, chaired a meeting with the Army officers and officials from different departments at the recruitment site. During the meeting, he instructed the officers to ensure timely arrangements for candidate accommodation, food and beverages, tents at the recruitment site, electricity backup, internet, CCTV, traffic control, barricading, toilets, fire brigade, ambulance, and other necessary facilities during the recruitment rally.
Deputy Director of District Employment and Business Bureau, Neelam Mahe, informed that only candidates who have registered on the Indian Army website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in will be eligible to participate in the recruitment rally.
The meeting was attended by Army Recruitment Officer Colonel Viplove Dogra, Principal Government Sports College Ranbir Singh, ACP Head Quarter Manmohan Singh, Tehsildar Swapandeep Kaur, Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer Naresh Kumar, and officers from different departments.
