Chandigarh: Ahead of Independence Day, AGTF Punjab has achieved a big success against organized crime. In a Major breakthrough, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) arrested five persons. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav has shared the information about the arrest of five miscreants on his X handle.

Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Punjab arrested five persons. All five of the arrested accused were wanted in several crimes. The police also arrested mastermind Sunil Bhandari alias Nata who is involved in many crimes including the three recent killings in Ferozepur.
DGP yadav further states that accused Nata was the mastermind of broad daylight sensational murder on July 31st, 2024. AGTF received a tip off about the accused and arrested then in two SUV cars early morning near National Highway Rajpura.
Along with the arrest of 5 accused, AGTF also recovered arms and ammunition in large quantities. AGTF recovered 5 pistols and 40 live cartridges and also confiscated two vehicles. AGTF with the arrest of 5 accused have successfully averted further any sensational crime with their arrest.
