The Jalandhar-West seat became vacant after the resignation of MLA Sheetal Angural. CM Bhagwant Singh Mann has tightened preparations for the said by-election of Jalandhar.
According to sources, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann will now stay in a rented house in Deep Nagar, Jalandhar Cantt till the elections are held. His wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur and sister Manpreet Kaur will also be with him. CM Mann will soon shift to Deep Nagar. This decision has been taken after a meeting held in Chandigarh yesterday.
This will be his new residence not only for a month till the by-election but till the 2027 assembly elections. According to the information received, CM Mann will be present in this house three days a week. This is being done because it will keep him in close contact with the leaders and people of Doaba and Manjha area.
Let us tell you that during the Lok Sabha by-elections, CM Mann and his team stayed in hotels. But this time for the by-elections, CM Mann has decided to rent a house in Jalandhar.
