Delhi:
All India Congress Committee has appointed former cabinet minister Aruna Chaudhary as deputy leader of the congress legislative party in Punjab.
AICC in a letter issued mentioned, “This is to inform you that the Hon’ble Congress President has approved the proposal of the appointment of Aruna Chaudhary as Deputy Leader of the congress legislative party in Punjab with immediate effect.”
Chaudhary took to ‘X’ and thanked senior leadership of the congress party including AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and KC Venugopal for this appointment. “I am committed to giving my best and working closely with every Congress worker to strengthen Congress Party,” she expressed in her post on X on Monday.
