All toll plazas in Punjab to be made free on October 17, announces BKU Ugrahan

Farmer leaders have accused the Central and Punjab governments of ignoring these justified demands of the farmers.

Chandigarh: In Punjab, all toll plazas will be made free by the farmers on October 17. On October 18, permanent fronts will be set up outside the houses of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and BJP leaders.

Mainly, the front will be set up outside the houses of BJP leaders Arvind Khanna, Preneet Kaur and all the ministers and MLAs of AAP. This decision has been taken by the Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta Ugrahan in protest against the improper purchase of paddy. The protest is against both the Central and Punjab governments.

Farmer leader Joginder Singh Ugrahan and General Secretary Sukhdev Singh Kokri Kalan said that the 5-member state leadership team of the organization has taken this decision. Farmers and laborers have many demands. Among these demands is to start uninterrupted purchase of paddy at MSP. Apart from this, many other demands are included in it. On which the BJP government at the Center and the AAP government in the state are not showing seriousness.
