Chandigarh: Amid the Heatwave in Punjab, the Punjab government has decided to prepone the summer holidays in all schools of the state. Earlier the summer holidays were from June 1 to June 30. Now after the new order, the holidays will begin from May 21 to June 30. The official order is awaited from the Punjab government.
School Timing revised from today
As per the order of the Punjab Government, schools of the state opened at the revised timings. The Punjab government changed the time due to the intense heat which makes it difficult for school-going children to come. Earlier the school timings were from 8 am to 2 pm and later changed to 7am to 12pm.
