Amritpal Singh case hearing today in High Court, Dibrugarh Jail Superintendent is also reaching the court.

A hearing will be held in the Punjab and Haryana High Court on the petition filed to remove the NSA on Waris Punjab Chief Amritpal Singh.

Amritpal Singh Case Hearing: Waris Punjab chief Amritpal Singh and his accomplices are lodged in Dibrugarh Jail in Assam and are on hunger strike in jail against the action against him. Action was taken against Amritpal Singh and his 9 associates under NSA. Which is going to be heard in the Punjab Haryana High Court today.

A hearing will be held in the Punjab and Haryana High Court on the petition filed to remove the NSA. Meanwhile, all parties including the Superintendent of Dibrugarh Jail and the Central Government will submit their reports. The court had issued a notice to him during the previous hearing.

Amritpal Singh was arrested by the Punjab Police in April 2023 from the Gurdwara of village Rode in Moga district. The NSA was placed on him while the police were chasing him. However, after being caught, he was sent to Dibrugarh Jail in Assam. Amritpal Singh is going to be in jail for almost a year.

In such a situation, a legal battle has been started by him and his colleagues Guri Aujla, Gurmeet Singh Bookanwala, Kulwant Singh and Basant Singh to remove the NSA. He has described this action as illegal. Along with this, other people are demanding that all of them should be transferred to Punjab jail. In this regard, he along with his colleagues is on a hunger strike in the jail. While the family members have organized a march in Amritsar.

Amritpal Singh case hearing is considered very important. Because spy cameras, CCTV cameras and other equipment were recovered from Amritpal Singh’s barracks a few days ago. Along with this, the family alleged that all this has been planted there by the jail administration. Along with this, now the whole situation will be clear from the report of the jail officer.

Apart from this, NSA Advisory Board has been constituted by the government. This board also monitors all matters.
