Amritsar Police has taken major action after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. On the instructions of Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, a special investigation campaign was launched in all three zones of the city. Police is identifying suspicious people. Police inspected 24 spa centers, 12 hookah bars and 52 salons. In the investigation, two hookah bars were found illegal.
A case was registered against their operators, Ravi Chaurasia, Shubham Mahajan, and Neeraj Sahota for operating without a license. Police seized 2 hookahs and more than 80 hookah flavors from the spot.
FIR has been registered in the Civil Lines and Ranjit Avenue police station. The police have given strict instructions to all hotel managers.
They will have to check the identity of every guest. Also, it has been made mandatory to keep a complete record of the visitors. Lakhs of tourists visit Amritsar every day. In such a situation, the police have made strict security arrangements. Hotels have been asked to strictly follow the security rules. Police is constantly monitoring to prevent any untoward incident.
