Amritsar: Amritsar Rural Police has arrested two gangsters of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The arrested accused have been identified as Harshdeep Singh and Shubham Kumar.
Police recovered a 30 pistol, live cartridges and 2 Glock pistols from the accused. Police will present both the accused in the court and take them on remand and interrogate them. The accused had brought the said weapons from Rajasthan gangster Bhupinder Singh.
Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the Amritsar Rural Police team had received secret information, in which it was told that the said accused have moved to Amritsar Rural area. Based on the information, the police arrested both the accused.
DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the links of the accused are from Bhupinder Singh. From whom they had brought weapons and the accused had to commit a crime in Punjab with those weapons.
But before that they were arrested. DGP Yadav said that the said accused were also involved in organized crime related to Lawrence gang. The records of how many cases have been registered against both of them earlier are being investigated.
