Chandigarh: In major disappointment to all Arijit Singh’s fan who were waiting for his November 4 concert here in Chandigarh, the show has been cancelled. Chandigarh Police denied permission for the concert over less parking space. The program was to be held in exhibition ground of sector 34.
Police in the matter has said that the organisers failed to submit an adequate parking system of nearly 5000 vehicles. Police accused oragnisers for having lack of adequate arrangements as large number of people are expected to turn up for the big event.
It is not for the first time that Arjit’s concert in the Union territory is being cancelled. Earlier also, the show was postponed due to heavy rain in the month of May. As per show organisers, they are in touch with administration and are hoping to sort the parking issue.
It should be noted that nearly 7000 tickets have been sold already which start from Rs 1800 and goes to whooping amount of up to Rs 2 lakh.
