Tarn Taran: A gangster made an unsuccessful attempt to escape from the Civil Hospital in Tarn Taran. According to the information received, the gangster was admitted to the hospital in an injured condition from where he tried to escape but the police personnel caught him again.
Let us tell you that an encounter took place between the gangsters and the police in the early morning yesterday. During this encounter, two miscreants were arrested, out of which a miscreant named gangster Gurlal Jeet Singh was shot and was admitted to the Civil Hospital in Tarn Taran in an injured condition for treatment where he was undergoing treatment. The injured gangster tried to escape from the hospital but could not succeed as bid was foiled by police on duty.
According to the information received, gangster Prabh Dasuwal was continuously calling people in the Valtoha and Khemkaran areas and demanding ransom. Prabh Dasuwal’s associates used to fire bullets at their hideouts to intimidate people who did not pay the ransom.
The police caught these gangsters during an encounter, but during this, one gangster was shot due to which he was injured and was admitted to the special ward of the hospital from where he tried to escape. But due to the promptness of the police, the fleeing gangster Gurlaljit Singh was recaptured.
Regarding the case, the DSP of Tarn Taran Police said that the gangster Gurlaljit Singh was undergoing treatment at the Tarn Taran Civil Hospital and tried to escape by dodging the security personnel, who was chased and recaptured by the deployed police personnel.
