Dasuha : Today in the morning at village Mewa Miani, SP Dasuha Jagdish Raj Attri and SHO Harprem Singh, raids the house of smuggler Sucha Singh son of Avtar Singh.
The smuggler Sucha Singh attacked the police party and as a result, ASI Satnam Singh, who came near the door, hit on the head and got seriously injured. Meanwhile, constable Gurinder Singh was also injured. The police also fired to protect themselves. During this attack by the smuggler, Sucha Singh smuggler died due to bullet injury.
Satnam Singh and Constable Gurwinder Singh have been admitted to Civil Hospital Dasuha for treatment. The body of the deceased smuggler Sucha Singh has been kept in the mortuary at Civil Hospital Dasuha.
SMO Dr. Jaswinder Singh said that both the policemen are undergoing treatment while the body of deceased Sucha Singh is lying in the mortuary at Civil Hospital Dasuha.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, senior police officials also reached on spot and examined the situation regarding the incident.
