Amritsar: In a major breakthrough, the State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) Amritsar busted a narco terror module. The module was operated by controllers from abroad. The information about the update has been shared by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav.

Gurjeet Singh r/o Dande, Amritsar Rural & Baljit Singh r/o Chhapa, Tarn Taran have been arrested.

The SSOC Amritsar made arrest of two persons in this matter. As per police, the arrested accused have been identified as Gurjeet Singh r/o Dande, Amritsar Rural & Baljit Singh r/o Chhapa, Tarn Taran.
The arrested persons were also involved in a grenade attack on Police Station Islamabad. The grenade attack was carried out by them on December 17, 2024.
Police have also recovered narcotics and arms in the recovery. As per police, so far, 1.4 Kg Heroin, 01 hand grenade, and 02 pistols have been recovered by the police. Further investigations are ongoing to uncover the entire network.
