Bathinda: Three people were injured in a collision between a motorcycle and an auto at Bhai Kanhaiya Chowk on Goniana Road in Bathinda. The injured motorcyclist has been identified as Sukha Singh (40), a resident of Kili Nihal Singh Ala.
The two injured passengers in the auto were identified as Chirag (32), a resident of Pratap Nagar, and Rohit Sahni (40), a resident of National Colony. As soon as the accident was reported, the Life Saving Brigade Helpline team of Sahara Jan Seva reached the spot.
Sandeep Singh Gill of the team immediately took all the injured to the hospital. Doctors started treating the injured. Seeing the critical condition of an injured auto rickshaw rider, he was referred to AIIMS hospital.
SHO of Thermal Police Station Jaswinder Singh said that he has not received any information about the accident yet. He said that as soon as any information is received, action will be taken as per the law.
