Barnala: A major accident has taken place on the Barnala-Moga National Highway. Another bus of farmers going to Tohana Mahapanchayat met with an accident here. Three women died in this accident and many farmers were injured. Injured farmers were immediately admitted to the Civil Hospital Barnala.
Since the condition of some farmers in the accident was more serious, they were referred to another hospital. According to information, on Saturday morning, a bus of the Bharatiya Kisan Union Ugrahan was going to Tohana, Haryana for the Mahapanchayat from Kotha Guru K, when the bus suddenly lost control and overturned on the Moga bypass road. Due to this three women on board the bus died. The deceased women are said to be residents of Kotha Guru K.
Let us tell you that after the accident, the front window of the bus broke and the bus overturned. With the help of people around, passengers trapped in the bus were taken out and shifted to hospital. According to people present at the scene, the accident occurred due to dense fog.
