Chandigarh, July 7: Today is the wedding anniversary of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. CM’s wife Dr. Gurpreet Kaur has wished him on the anniversary. She has written, “Today is a special day in our lives, Happy Anniversary, Mann Sahab.”
Dr. Gurpreet Kaur has posted a post on her social media account X. In this, she has written, “Happy wedding anniversary my friend… May your happiness remain… I pray that you always keep progressing… Today is a special day in our lives. Happy anniversary, Maan sahab.”
The marriage took place in Chandigarh in 2022
In the year 2022, the Aam Aadmi Party government was formed in Punjab. Bhagwant Mann became the CM of Punjab. After this, he tied the knot on July 7, 2022. The wedding rituals took place at the CM House in Chandigarh. Now the couple also has a daughter, whose name is Niamat Kaur. They celebrated their daughter’s first birthday just three months ago. This is Mann’s second marriage. He is divorced from his first wife. He also has two children from his first marriage, who live abroad.
Dr. Gurpreet Kaur is from Haryana
CM Bhagwant Mann’s wife is from Pehowa in Haryana. She has three sisters in her family. In 2013, Gurpreet Kaur took admission in Mullana Medical College, Ambala. In 2017, she completed her medical studies. In 2019, she met Bhagwant Mann.
Bhagwant Mann was then a Lok Sabha MP from Sangrur. After this, she continued to attend special programs of CM Mann. Gurpreet Kaur was also present in the swearing-in ceremony of the CM. Now she is seen active with the CM. In the Jalandhar by-election, she even took charge of the camp house herself
