Chandigarh, July 17: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann held a high level meeting with police officials on the law and order situation in the state. The meeting was held at the CM residence. DGP Gaurav Yadav and other senior police officials were present in it. The Chief Minister has sought a report from the officials on the current law and order situation in the state. The CM ordered that all arrangements should be made to maintain a safe environment in the state.
A strategy was made on every issue in the meeting
According to the information, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has called this meeting at a time when the opposition is constantly cornering the government on the issue of law and order. The opposition had also raised this issue in the special session. In such a situation, the Chief Minister has become serious about this matter. Eight newly promoted special DGPs were also present in this meeting. The Chief Minister has made it clear that this matter should be taken seriously.
