Big Jolt to BSP as Hoshiarpur Candidate Rakesh Suman joins AAP in presence of CM Mann

He joined AAP in the presence of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

Chandigarh: In a big jolt to Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Rakesh Suman, who was a candidate from the Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha seat has Joined the Aam Aadmi Party. He joined AAP in the presence of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

On his induction in AAP, AAP Punjab while sharing a series of photos from the joining said, “Big blow to BSP in Punjab. Renowned Dalit leader and BSP candidate from Hoshiarpur Rakesh Suman joined AAP from Hoshiarpur. CM @BhagwantMann honored him while joining the party.”

After Joining the party, Rakesh Suman said that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is working for Dalits. He added that Giving good education and health facilities to every poor is a noble work which AAP government is doing for people of the state.

Earlier on March 31st, BSP announced the name of Rakesh Suman as its candidate from Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha Seat. The incumbent MP from the seat is BJP Leader Som Prakash.

This time, AAP has fielded Raj Kumar Chabbewal, former MLA of Congress from the Hoshiarpur seat. BJP fielded Anita Som Prakash, wife of incumbent MP Som Prakash whereas the Congress party has given ticket to Yamini Gomar from the reserved seat.
