Jalandhar: A bike rider died after being hit by a truck near Verka Milk Plant on the Jalandhar-Amritsar Highway, falling in the area of Station Number One of the Jalandhar district of Punjab. The deceased has been identified as Veeru Gautam’s son Kitab Singh, a Gurmohan Colony resident in Jalandhar.
The body was sent for a postmortem.
The police took the body of the deceased into custody and sent it to the Civil Hospital for a postmortem. At the same time, the truck driver fled from the spot after the incident. At present, the police are investigating the CCTV cameras regarding this matter.
