Bike rider girl dies in accident in Jalandhar

The police of the Rama Mandi police station are investigating who is at fault in the accident.

A bike and a Scorpio car collided near the village Johlan on Hoshiarpur Road in Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, Punjab, in which a young girl died. The deceased has been identified as Amandeep Kaur, daughter of Kulwinder Singh, resident of village Nangal Fateh Khan, Patara, Jalandhar.

The police have taken the body into custody and sent it to the Civil Hospital Jalandhar for postmortem. The police of the Rama Mandi police station are investigating who is at fault in the accident. After the investigation, further action will be taken by the police in the case.

As soon as the information of the accident was received, the police team of Rama Mandi police station reached the spot and started action by taking the body in custody. ASI Vipin Randhawa, who reached the crime scene for investigation, said – there was a collision between the girl riding the motorcycle and the Scorpio car (PB 07 BY 0333). This accident happened late at night.

ASI Randhawa further said- The girl riding the motorcycle died immediately after the accident. Although it is not clear at the moment who is at fault in the said accident, the girl’s family was informed about the incident. Statements have been recorded late at night. Soon, the police will register an FIR in the case.
