BJP announces list for Assembly By-elections, fields Manpreet Badal from Gidderbaha

BJP has announced candidates for one seat in Meghalaya and three out of four seats in Punjab. 

Chandigarh: Bhartiya Janta Party has announced its list for assembly By-elections in Punjab and Meghalaya. BJP has announced candidates for one seat in Meghalaya and three out of four seats in Punjab.

In Meghalaya, the BJP has fielded Bernard Marak from Gambegre. For four seats of Punjab, BJP has announced candidates for three seats.

From Dera Baba Nanak, Ravi Karan Kahlon has been fielded by BJP. From Gidderbaha, Sardar Manpreet Singh Badal will be contesting whereas from Barnala, Sardar Kewal Singh Dhillon has been fielded by the BJP.

The assembly by-elections are scheduled for November 13 whereas the counting of votes will be done on November 23.

 

 

 

Before BJP, Aam Aadmi Party has declared its candidates on all four seats. Among them, Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon from Gidderbaha, Harinder Singh Dhaliwal from Barnala, Ishank Singh Chabbewal from Chabbewal and Gurdeep Singh Randhawa from Dera Baba Nanak have been given tickets. Congress and Akali Dal have not declared their candidates yet.
