BJP is pressurizing to leave INDIA group: Harpal Singh Cheema

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of pressurizing them to leave the INDIA Group.

Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of pressurizing them to leave the INDIA Group and to intimidate it, the party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal will soon be booked in fake liquor scam cases.

Preparations are being made to arrest him soon. Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema made this allegation during a press conference at the Chandigarh party office.

He said that the general elections of 2024 are coming near and BJP is seeing its defeat in these elections because for the last ten years, the Narendra Modi led government at the Center has failed miserably on every front.

Harpal Singh Cheema alleged that AAP leaders were receiving threatening calls that Mr Kejriwal would be arrested if he did not leave the India Group. So far, Mr Kejriwal has received seven summons from the Enforcement Directorate (ED). He claimed that AAP is an idealistic party, whose ideals are Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh and Dr. BR Ambedkar.

He said, “They will not be able to scare us.” AAP government cabinet minister Anmol Gagan Mann said that the INDIA Group has defeated the BJP in the Chandigarh mayor elections and it was just a trailer.
