Patiala: In line with the outreach program of Bharatiya Janata Party, Punjab Mahila Morcha took out a massive Nari Shakti Vandan Yatra in Patiala under the leadership of President Jai Inder Kaur.
The yatra will be taken out in every district of Punjab to highlight the steps taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government for the empowerment of women in India.
Addressing the gathering, Jai Inder Kaur said, “Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji has completely transformed the lives of women of India in the last ten years by running various welfare schemes for women. Due to the schemes of Modi government, today women have not only become equal but have also overtaken men in many fields. By bringing 33% reservation for women, Modi government has taken a historic step towards ensuring inclusive governance at the highest level.”
The Mahila Morcha president further said, “Under the leadership of Modi ji, the status of women is becoming stronger than ever, the government has launched Ujjwala Yojana, Lakhpati Didi, Drone Didi, Vidya Lakshmi Yojana and many other welfare schemes.”
She further said, “The women of Patiala have participated in this yatra in large numbers to express their gratitude to the BJP government for all these schemes and this is to once again elect Modi ji as our honorable Prime Minister.”
The entire Patiala Lok Sabha Mahila Morcha team was also included along with Jai Inder Kaur.
