Jalandhar: In a major blow to trans-border narcotic networks, Jalandhar Commissionerate Police busted an International drug racket. Jalandhar police recovered 10 Kg heroin and also apprehended four persons. The preliminary information has been shared by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav.

As per Police, Drones were used to smuggle drugs from Pakistan and the accused were linked with Pakistan-based drug smugglers. Police have earlier caught one person with 1 kg heroin and Rs 4 lakh drug money.
More information about the recovery is awaited. DGP Yadav added that Punjab Police is committed to make state drug-free as per the directions of CM Bhagwant Mann.
