Amritsar: In a Massive blow to trans-border narcotic networks, Amritsar Commissionerate Police made a huge seizure of narcotics and drug money along with it. The Amritsar Police seized around 5 Kg of heroin and a total of Rs 3.95 Lakh drug money. The information has been shared by Pujab Police DGP Gaurav Yadav through a post on X.
Amritsar Commissionerate Police has dealt a massive blow to trans-border narcotic networks in an intelligence -based operation. Seizure of 5 Kg Heroin and ₹3.95 lakhs drug money and arrest of 3 persons in the operation from #Ajnala, #Amritsar Rural.

Operation was launched after getting information from intelligence. Amritsar Police arrested 3 accused from Ajnala, Amritsar Rural along with heroin and drug money.
Technical leads were developed in a professional investigation and an FIR has been registered under the NDPS Act. Investigations are ongoing to establish backward and forward linkages. Punjab Police is committed to dismantle drug network and making Punjab drug-free.
