Tarn Taran: On the intervening night of 14th / 15th Nov’ 2023, BSF intercepted the movement of a suspected drone near Village – Mianwali, District – Tarn Taran. As per the laid down drill, BSF troops immediately reacted to intercept the drone. Further today a Joint search Operation with Punjab Police was carried – out. During the search, at about 07:13 hrs, the troops recovered a drone in broken condition along with 02 batteries from the farming field adjacent to Village – Mianwali, District – Tarn Taran. The recovered drone is a Quadcopter (Model – DJI Matrice 300 RTK, made in China). Yet another attempt of smugglers to smuggle narcotics through drone was foiled by BSF and Punjab Police.
