Continuing its relentless efforts to curb cross-border smuggling of arms and narcotics, the vigilant BSF troops seized drones along with arms and narcotics. As per BSF, totral 04 drones with a pistol and heroin in two separate incidents at Amritsar & Tarn Taran border.
As per BSF, During the intervening night of 27-28 Jul 2025, BSF troops on duty successfully neutralized and recovered 03 DJI Mavic 3 Classic drones along with 01 pistol and 02 heroin packets (Gross Weight- 1.150 Kgs) from the area adjacent to village- Pulmoran Amritsar.
One each packet was found attached to the drone.
At another location, In a joint search operation based on specific input, yesterday BSF and Punjab Police jointly recovered 01 DJI AIR 3 drone from a farming field adjacent to village- Dal, Tarn Taran.
These operations mark yet more successes by the alert BSF troops in foiling the nefarious attempts of Pakistani smugglers trying to exploit aerial routes for cross border illegal activities.
