Punjab: On 18 May 2024, based on the information the BSF intelligence wing noticed about the presence of a drone in the border area of Tarn Taran district, a joint search operation by BSF troops in collaboration with Punjab Police was conducted in the suspected area.

At about 11:30 am, during the search operation, troops successfully recovered one drone from a farming field adjacent to the village Rajoke in Tarn Taran District.
The recovered drone has been identified as a China-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic.
According to reliable information and the coordinated efforts of the BSF and Punjab Police, yet another illicit drone sent from across the border was recovered.
