Tarn Taran: On 16th June 2024, during the evening hours, vigilant troops on duty intercepted the movement of a suspected flying object in the border area of Tarn Taran district.
Following established procedures, BSF troops cordoned off the anticipated drop area and conducted an extensive search operation in collaboration with Punjab Police.
During the search operation, at about 5:00 pm, BSF troops successfully recovered a drone from the school grounds of Marimegha village, Tarn Taran district.
The recovered drone has been identified as a China-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic. The alertness of BSF troops and coordinated efforts with Punjab Police successfully led to the recovery of yet another illicit drone launched from across the border.
