Tarn Taran: Border Security Force troops along with Punjab Police recovered a pistol and magazine. The recovery was made after the disclosure of criminal who was apprehended by the BSF on July 30. The pistol has been recovered in Tarn Taran.
Consequent upon the questioning and subsequent disclosure of criminal apprehended by the BSF on 30th July 2024, BSF troops along with Punjab Police carried out a special search in the area adjacent to village Dal, in Tarn Taran district.
During search, on 31st July 2024 at about 08:30 pm, the troops successfully recovered a packet wrapped in yellow colour adhesive tape and with a metal ring attached to it.
Upon opening the packet, 01 Glock Pistol along with 01 empty Magazine was found inside. This recovery occured near the village Dal iron bridge in Tarn Taran district Skillful questioning of apprehended criminal followed by diligent efforts of the BSF troops and Punjab Police resulted in this significant recovery of concealed weapon consignment.
