Tarn Taran: Vigilant troops of BSF recovered a drone after intercepting the movement. On 10th June 2024, vigilant BSF troops on duty intercepted movement of a drone in the border area of district Tarn Taran.
Following the established drill, BSF troops promptly tracked movement of the drone. The likely dropping zone was cordoned and an extensive joint search operation by BSF along with Punjab Police was conducted.
At about 03:52 pm, the troops successfully recovered 01 small drone from a farming field of Village- Rajoke of district Tarn Taran.
The recovered drone has been identified as DJI Mavic 3 Classic, made in China Keen observation and well coordinated efforts of BSF and Punjab Police once again proved their resolve to plug the entry of illicit drones from across the border.
