BSF recovers heroine dropped by Pakistani drone from Fazilka border area

On 17th May 2024, based on information by BSF intelligence wing regarding presence of narcotics in the border area of Fazilka district, a joint search operation by BSF in collaboration with Punjab police was conducted in the suspected area.

Fazilka : On 17th May 2024, based on information by BSF intelligence wing regarding presence of narcotics in the border area of Fazilka district, a joint search operation by BSF in collaboration with Punjab police was conducted in the suspected area.

During search operation, at about 1:00 pm, the vigilant troops recovered 01 packet of suspected heroin (Gross weight- 330 Grams) which was wrapped with yellow colour adhesive tape.

A steel ring and a small torch were also found attached with the packet. This recovery took place in a farming field nearby Village- Bilalke Kamal in district Fazilka.

Reliable information of BSF intelligence wing and coordinated efforts of BSF troops & Punjab Police successfully foiled the desperate attempt of smugglers to pump in narcotics in Punjab from across the border.
