BSF recovers three packages of heroin along with one Android phone

Following a thorough search of the area, BSF troops successfully recovered three packages suspected to contain heroin

Amritsar: On January 6th, 2024, at approximately 5:30 AM, vigilant Border Security Force troops stationed at the border detected a dropping sound near the Border Fence in the vicinity of Village-Daoke, District – -Amritsar.

 Following a thorough search of the area, BSF troops successfully recovered three packages suspected to contain heroin (Gross weight – approximately 3.210 kg ), securely wrapped with yellow adhesive tape and 01 Android mobile phone from a farming field.

It is believed that the Android phone belonged to an Indian Smuggler which was found at the place of recovery of drugs.

 The vigilant BSF troops thwarted yet another illicit attempt by Pakistani smugglers to smuggle narcotics.
