Bus and truck collision due to fog in Bathinda, over dozen injured

Due to low visibility, both the drivers could not see each other and truck collided with the bus

Bathinda:  The incidents of accidents have increased due to fog. Meanwhile, on Friday morning, a violent collision took place between a bus and a truck near Jodhpur Rumana village in Bathinda, in which about a dozen people were injured. All the injured have been admitted to AIIMS and Civil Hospital in Bathinda. It is being told that this accident took place due to fog. Due to low visibility, both the drivers could not see.

No casualties were reported in the accident. Let us tell you that due to dense fog, a violent collision took place between a private company bus and a truck full of passengers on the Bathinda-Rama road. More than 20 people on board the bus were injured in this accident, who have been admitted to AIIMS Bathinda and Civil Hospital Bathinda for treatment. No casualties were reported in this accident, while the bus passengers suffered minor injuries. The cause of the accident is being said to be dense fog.

After receiving information about the accident, the police team of the concerned police station reached the spot and started an investigation. According to the information, the bus of New Deep Company was coming from Rama Mandi towards Bathinda. Due to the new construction of Bathinda-Dabwali road, one side of the road is closed, due to which vehicles are coming on one side. Due to dense fog near the village Gurusar Sainewala, a truck going from Bathinda to Dabwali and a bus coming from Rama to Bathinda collided head-on.

The bus was badly damaged in the accident, while more than 20 people on board the bus were injured, and were admitted to AIIMS and Civil Hospital in Bathinda for treatment by 108 ambulance and Sahara Jan Seva team. It is being told that no passenger has been seriously injured in this accident and there has been no loss of life. About 12 people are admitted to AIIMS, while about 8 are under treatment in Civil Hospital Bathinda.
