Cameras banned in Harmandir Sahib: Akal Takht’s Jathedar order – Videography will not be allowed for film promotion

Videography has now been completely banned in Sri Darbar Sahib of Amritsar. Jathedar Giani Raghubir Singh congratulated the Sangat on the occasion of the foundation day of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. While issuing the order, he said that a large number of Sangat come to Sri Darbar Sahib to pay obeisance.

Amritsar: Videography has now been completely banned in Sri Darbar Sahib of Amritsar. While issuing the order, he said that a large number of Sangat come to Sri Darbar Sahib to pay obeisance.

But the Sangat has very little knowledge about the dignity of Gurdwara Sahib. The Sangat is appealed not to take photographs in Sri Darbar Sahib. Many films are released. Before the release of the film, the team comes to pay obeisance in Darbar Sahib. There is also a videography team with them.

Promotion of films will not allowed in Darbar Sahib

Now such videography will not happen. If a person comes to Darbar Sahib as a Sangat, then he can bow his head and do Ardaas, but promotion of films will not happen in Darbar Sahib.

While talking to the media, Shiromani Committee President Harjinder Singh Dhami said that the 6th Patshah Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib has blessed the Sangat by establishing this holy Takht. Sri Akal Takht Sahib is a symbol of the principle of Miri Piri which is highly respected in the Sikh world.
