Death of BSF Jawan due to dizziness in Fazilka

Suddenly fell on the ground; the deceased was a resident of Tamil Nadu and had left for duty after eating food. 

Fazilka: A case of death of a BSF Jawan during duty on the Indo-Pak border in Fazilka, Punjab, has come to light. It is being told that after eating food, the BSF Jawan had left for duty when he suddenly fell due to dizziness. He was immediately brought to the government hospital in Fazilka, where the doctor declared him dead. At present, a postmortem is being conducted to ascertain the cause of death.

Giving information, police officer Satnam, who reached the government hospital in Fazilka, said that the police had received information that BSF jawan Mugandha Madhavan, son of Balan, a resident of Tamil Nadu, posted on duty at BOP Chak Amira in the India-Pakistan border area, has died. Action is being taken by the police on this. He said that the BSF jawan had left for duty after having food when he suddenly felt dizzy and fell on the ground. He was brought to the government hospital in Fazilka for treatment. Where the doctor declared him dead.

The police say that it is suspected that the said BSF jawan died of a heart attack. At present, the postmortem of the dead BSF jawan’s body is being conducted. After the report comes, the real cause of death will be known.
