Khanna: A case of molestation by a math teacher came to light in a government senior secondary smart school in a village under police station Maloud of police district Khanna in Ludhiana district. People from four villages gathered at the school and protested. People demanded action against the accused teacher. Children from Lahal, Kartarpur, Jirakh, and Dholmajra villages study at this school.
Families of the children who reached the school said that the math teacher, Haridio Prasad Singh, touched the girls in the wrong way. Many times, their girls came home and told them. They kept thinking that the teacher himself would stop his actions. But when the teacher was not removed, they were forced to come to the school and protest.
At the same time, in this whole case, teacher Haridio Prasad Singh admitted his mistake and said that he did not molest any female student with any such intention. If any female student was touched in the wrong way while he was scolding her, then he apologizes for that.
On the other hand, the in-charge lecturer of the school, Rupinder Kaur, said that senior officials have been informed about this incident. DSP Payal Nikhil Garg said that the education department is investigating it.
At present, no one has complained to the police. Still, they have sent SHO Maloud to the spot.
