Murder of second wife with scissors in Fazilka

A court marriage was done four months ago, and I spent 10 years in jail for killing my first wife.

Fazilka: A case of murder of a woman with scissors has come to light in Rajput Mohalla of Jalalabad in Fazilka district of Punjab. It is being told that about 4 months ago, the said woman had a court marriage with a man who had come out of jail in the case of the murder of his wife. After which, during a dispute over some matter, the said man killed her, i.e., his second wife, by attacking her with scissors today.

Giving information, Shanti, nephew of deceased Prakash Kaur (50 years old), told that his aunt, whose husband had died, and about 4 months ago she had a court marriage with a man named Raman Sharma, who had returned from jail about 6 months ago after serving a sentence of about 10 years in the case of the murder of his wife. He used to come to their house. He said that the man was forcing the woman to leave her son’s house and live with him.

But the woman was living with her son and daughter-in-law. She used to live there and did not want to leave the house. Due to the dispute between the two, the said person warned her that this time she would not be able to attend the Khajji Peer Fair held near her house. Taking this warning into consideration, he came to the woman’s house today, stabbed her with scissors, and killed her. At present, the matter has reached the police, so the police have also reached the spot. They have started an investigation into the matter.

On the other hand, DSP AR Sharma of Jalalabad said that the police have reached the spot in this matter. He said that the accused has fled from the spot. At present, the police are searching for the absconding accused. At the same time, he said that appropriate action is being taken by investigating the matter.
