Mohali: A case has been registered on the orders of the court against Aam Aadmi Party MLA Mohali Kulwant Singh and his real estate company Janta Land Promoters Private Limited (JLPL). This case has been registered in Delhi-NCR. In this, a complaint was given against them by MGF Builder Company.
The MGF Builder Company alleged that Janta Land Promoters had built a project on MGF’s land. However, under the agreement, it was not paid for the project. When the matter reached the court, this case has been registered on the orders of the court.
According to information received from sources, this fraud case is related to fraud of Rs 150 crore. The complainant has said in his complaint that the cost of this entire project was around Rs 180 crore. Out of which some money was given to him by Kulwant Singh. But after 2021, he has not made any payment. This case has been registered in the DLF Phase-2 police station of Gurugram.
This is about 100 acres of land in Sector 94 of Gurgaon. MLA Kulwant Singh’s wife is also accused of this. Along with fraud, there is also an allegation of giving fake documents.
ED raided the house of Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh in October last year. In this, he was accused of having a stake in the Delhi liquor business. Therefore, this action was taken against him during the investigation of the liquor scam.
Apart from this, Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit also wrote a letter to the Chief Minister of Punjab. In this letter, he alleged that there are many types of irregularities in the projects being run by Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh. They should be investigated.
