Ludhiana: Chairperson Raj Lali Gill of the Punjab State Women Commission is scheduled to meet with Ludhiana police officials on Tuesday to discuss and address the challenges faced by women in the region. This meeting is a aimed at safeguarding women’s rights and ensuring justice.
Chairperson Gill highlighted that the Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is focused on protecting women’s rights and ensuring justice. She mentioned that the upcoming talks with senior police officials in Ludhiana are part of a bigger effort to understand the challenges women deal with and to find effective solutions.
Chairperson Gill further added that, following the meeting with the police, she will also visit the Women’s Jail in Ludhiana. This visit will focus on ensuring that the rights of female inmates are upheld and addressing any issues they may face. Chairperson Gill affirmed that the Commission is committed to resolving any problems swiftly and ensuring fair treatment for all women.
