Chandigarh, July 4: A girl has committed suicide in Chandigarh. The deceased has been identified as Amandeep Kaur (26). The deceased was to get engaged after two days. Her father is working as a superintendent in Punjab University.

The police has taken the body into custody and sent it to the hospital. The reason for death is not clear yet, although a suicide note has been found. The police is investigating the case.

She was a fashion designer by profession

According to the information, the deceased had done her MSc in fashion designing from an institute located in Tricity. She also got placed during her studies. After this, she was working in a reputed company. She was to get engaged after two days. Hence, there was a happy atmosphere in the house.

At night, she went to her room and slept. In the morning, it was discovered that she had committed suicide by hanging herself. She has written a suicide note. In this she has not held anyone responsible. However, the family is unable to understand why she took this step.

The suicide note, which has been seized by the police, says, I am sorry, whatever I am doing, I am doing it of my own free will. No one else should be made the reason for this. I could not handle the situation. The police is now identifying her handwriting from the suicide note.
