Chandigarh: Punjab Congress to lead protest against irregularities in NEET UG

It is said that all the district heads, blockheads, constituency in-charges and coordinators will participate in it the protest to be held in Chandigarh.

Chandigarh: Punjab Congress will protest against the central government today in against the rigging of the NEET exam. Ever since the announcement of results, NEET UG has been under question. Supreme Court is hearing the matter and has served various notices to the National Testing agency and the government.

Opposition parties have been protesting against the alleged irregularities. Today, a protest has been organized at the Congress party’s Chandigarh headquarters. This protest will be held under the leadership of Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warning.

It is said that all the district heads, blockheads, constituency in-charges and coordinators will participate in it the protest to be held in Chandigarh.

The protest will start around 11:30 am. Party President Amarinder Singh Warning says that the rigging in the NEET exam is an issue of big concern as it is related with the future of 24 Lakh students. He said that through protest, the Congress party will demand action on the accused of a paper leak.

Preparation on behalf of Police

Congress has organized a protest in Chandigarh. In such a situation, Law and order should be maintained. Chandigarh Police is also in alert mode for this. Arrangements have been made so local people and commuters don’t face any kind of difficulties.

The police has made full security arrangements there. At the same time, Congress leaders say that now every issue will be taken up seriously by them.
