In view of this, summer vacations have been announced in all the schools of Chandigarh. So now the summer vacation has started from May 22.
In view of the extreme heat in Chandigarh, the administration has announced holidays from May 22 (Wednesday) to June 30 (Sunday) in all schools (government, government aided and unaided, recognized private schools) of UT Chandigarh. Today, 21 May 2024 will be the last working day before the summer holidays.
People in Chandigarh have no hope of getting relief from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature will reach 45 degrees by Saturday, May 25. Along with this, the night temperature will also increase. The department has also issued a red alert for heat and heat wave till 25th.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature will be 44 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 28 degrees till 23rd.
