Chandigarh: Chandigarh Traffic Police has issued an advisory regarding Republic Day in Chandigarh. Many routes will be diverted as per the police.
Police have issued an advisory and advised people not to come on these routes.
Traffic will be diverted on these routes by the police from 9:30 am to 10:15 am. People have been advised to use other routes.
These roads will remain closed
According to police traffic advisory, Sector 16 to 16-17 Light Point, Sector 16/17/9/10 Matka Chowk, Sector 3/4/9/10 New Barricade Chowk, Sector 1/3 and 4 Chowk, Old Barricade Chowk, Left Turn towards War Memorial, Vogan Villa Garden, Sector 3 From War Memorial towards Bogan Villa Garden Sector 3, Old Barricade Chowk, Right turn from Matka Chowk, Left turn from Sector 16-17 Light Point, Right turn from Sector 17 Parade Ground has been closed.
State level program will be held in the parade ground
The state level program of Republic Day will be organized at the Parade Ground, Sector 17, Chandigarh. Preparations for this have been going on here for the last several days. A full-dress rehearsal has been organized today. This event is being organized by Chandigarh Police. These roads will also be closed on 26 January. Traffic will be diverted from here.
