Jalandhar: Congress Leader and candidate from Jalandhar seat Charanjit Singh Channi faced protests from the people. Video is going viral on social media in which people of a locality in large numbers are protesting against the congress candidate. People were seen holding posters and black flags in their hands.
In the viral video, agitated people can be seen protesting him. Migrant workers too recalled the remark of former CM which he made during campaign of assembly elections in 2022. Agitated people said that they would not let Channi enter Jalandhar.

According to the information received, this protest took place last evening in Jalandhar-West area when Channi had to come to the area to campaign. It should be noted that Jalandhar-West is considered strong hold of BJP Leader Sushil Kumar Rinku.
At the same time, some people gathered there and started raising slogans against Charanjit Singh Channi. Following the protest, police reached the spot and pacified the protestors to calm down the atmosphere.
