Civic Body Elections: AAP appoints 69 coordinators for Punjab

MPs, ministers, and MLAs have been put on duty.

Chandigarh: Only five days are left for the elections of 5 Municipal Corporations and 44 Municipal Councils to be held on 21 December in Punjab. To win the elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has appointed 69 coordinators. MPs, ministers, and MLAs have been put on duty.

Apart from this, election manifestos are being issued on local issues, so that the hearts of the voters can be won. The party wants to win these elections at any cost. Because the Delhi Assembly elections are right after this, the party will try to capitalize on the victory of these elections there as well. In such a situation, the party is not in the mood to leave any stone unturned at any level.

Municipal elections are also being held in urban areas. In such a situation, this time there will not be a direct contest with Congress. Whereas due to being an urban area, BJP’s hold is also considered strong in this area. In many municipal corporations and city councils, BJP has had councilors and even mayors earlier.

These elections are being held for the first time after Aman Arora became the head. He is directly leading this election. Before this, he visited several districts and held meetings with leaders. He also made a strategy for the elections.
